Case Study – LiftVest LLC.
Liftvest is an innovative product that helps wheelchair-bound patients and their
caregivers. It allows caregivers to transfer patients safely, quickly and comfortably.
What they needed
When LiftVest approached CharmLab, they were looking for a website redesign
and marketing ideas. Their website had become outdated and was suffering from
sprawl due to the addition of content, products and pages on a site that was designed
to be static. Their sales had reached a plateau but there was still plenty of room for growth.
What we did
Upon researching the market, CharmLab concluded there were two market segments. To
cut down the sprawl, we designed a website that led visitors to a directed portal. Inside
each portal the messaging and design was targeted for that market segment. The messaging
was reworked to be search-engine friendly and easier to read quickly, creating a better user
experience. We also posted social media content to drive traffic to the website.
The Result
The new design for the LiftVest website brings relevant information, links and videos to the
forefront while incorporating a fresh new look. The new navigation allows users to quickly
find the e-commerce store and any information they are looking for. LiftVest.com saw an
increase in traffic to the site and in e-commerce conversions.
